In-Studio attendance is limited to 10 students, who must preregister and prepay. (If you download the MindBody Check-In app, you can preregister and pay from the parking lot!) ALL in-studio classes will also be live-streamed. This is a work in progress and we are feeling our way forward.
Students are required to register for classes using Mind Body Online. We strongly suggest that you download MindBody Check-In app, if it is available on your device. The MindBody Check-in application gives you access to live schedules, workshop details, account info, etc. Please arrive no less than ten minutes before class time, otherwise your reservation may be forfeited. If you can’t reserve online please call or email the studio.
The office/bookstore has been rearranged for more open space and even flow. Please, no more than 3 students in the office at one time, spaced as per social distancing requirements. Once you sign in on the iPad you will move into the yoga studio. We have spaces marked for correct distancing--find your space and settle in!
Please bring your shoes into the studio space and store them in the cubbies; we suggest you leave other things in the car.
As currently required by the state and city, masks will be worn by teachers and students. If that requirement is lifted; we will also lift it and masks will be optional.
Students will supply their own props--if you wish to purchase some, you will need to come to the studio 30 minutes before your class start to allow even flow during students checking in. Alternatively, come during a non-class time. Check our schedule.
Use hand sanitizer as soon as you come in. You will enter through the main door and exit through the studio door.
Staff will conduct a health screening upon entry, including a temperature check. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
After class, please exit without congregating inside. I know you want to chat with old friends--please do this outside.
The Yoga Connection Protocol
HEPA medical grade filters are placed in the bookstore as well as the studio; circulating and purifying the air within 30-40 minutes.
Floor is steam cleaned daily. Bathrooms are sanitized after each class as are cubbies.
Teachers will for the time of this safety first period teach from the front of the room. Teachers will not walk around and there will be no hands-on cuing--only verbal.
Staff and teachers will do a health screen upon arrival at the studio. And they will stay home if not feeling well.
Staff cannot accept drop-ins nor exceed the 10-student limit at this time.
Class Package Policy
Please choose your card carefully; there are no extensions or holds on class packages of any type or time period.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover online and at the studio. At this time, we will not accept cash as preregistration and payment is required in advance.
Class packages are non-refundable.
Refund Policy All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds of any sort, for any reason, at any time. This policy is firm.
Cancellation Policy You must give verbal or written notice, at least 2 hours before the start time. If notice is given, unused class/es will be returned to your account for future use.
Latecomer Policy We encourage students to be here no less than five minutes prior to class start time for the benefit of their practice, the teacher and other students. As of right now, we will not permit late comers into class.
Young Student Policy Our classes are designed for students 16 years of age and older. The yoga practice of a child is different from the practice of an adult. If you would like to bring your child to a regular yoga class with you, he/she must be at least 13 years old and you must follow the following criteria:
You must sign a separate consent form for each child.
Please place your mat next to your child’s in the back of the room by the door so you may leave quietly if needed.
It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to watch over their child to ensure that they do not injure themselves or disrupt the class. If the instructor feels as if he/she can align them and they don’t mind, then the instructor will do so, but the poses in a regular yoga class are focused on students age 16 and older.
If your child becomes a distraction to the class or teacher, the instructor reserves the right to ask you to quietly leave, expecting your full understanding and willingness to comply. If that ends up being the case, we will refund your money.
If you need to leave the class for any reason, say to use the restroom or answer a phone call, you must bring your child with you. We do not allow students under the age of 16 in our regular classes without a parent or accompanying adult and will not be responsible for any person that age.
Any exceptions to these policies must be addressed to the teacher or management prior to class.
Children under 16 years of age may not sit in the reception area while the parent or guardian takes a class, unless she/he is accompanied by an adult. Our reception staff is not required to supervise children.
Workshop Cancellation and Refund Policy If you register for a workshop but are unable to attend, please let us know at least 48 hours before the workshop is scheduled to begin. If we receive your request for cancellation more than 48 hours before the event takes place, you can either get a refund to your form of payment minus 20% administration fee, or you can get a full refund credited to your account (this credit can be used toward any purchase). If we receive your cancellation request less than 48 hours before the event, a refund will not be possible.
Absence to a workshop or event is non-refundable. If you cancel on the day of the workshop or after it has taken place, a refund or studio credit will not be possible.
Workshops and events could occasionally be canceled by the studio if there’s insufficient interest, or if a teacher has an emergency. If your event is canceled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund.
