Teacher Training SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in the Yoga Connection’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and our Scholarship Program. Here you will find important information about scholarship eligibility, amounts, and application deadlines, so be sure to read through this page thoroughly.The mission of The Yoga Connection’s teacher training programs is to make the teachings of yoga, health and well-being available to all who seek. The intention of the scholarship fund is to make our programs available to individuals seeking to deepen their yoga practice and to teach yoga regardless of their financial situation. All scholarships are partial (approx. $150-$500) and based on availability of funds. Submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee that you will receive one, nor does it admit you into our training program.

Applicants must also submit a HTTI application in addition to the scholarship application.

Acceptance

The Yoga Connection’s scholarship application is for the following on-site programs only.

200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
300-Hour ADVANCED Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

Criteria

All scholarship applicants must demonstrate financial need to receive a partial scholarship award. Please fill out the Annual Household Income portion of this application as completely and accurately as possible in order to allow the Scholarship Committee to most accurately assess your level of financial need. Please note that you will also need to include a copy of your last filed tax return.

Application Deadlines

Your application must be received at least 90 days prior to the program start date. You will be notified by email when your application has been received. Approximately 30 days before the start of the program you will be notified about the status of your application.

200-Hour FALL application deadline: July 1
200-Hour SPRING application deadline: December 1
200-Hour SUMMER application deadline: March 1
200-Hour Winter application deadline: October 1

All applications deadlines are final. We are unable to consider applications received after the deadline. If the deadline date falls on a non-business day, the deadline will be through the next business day.

As a scholarship applicant, we trust that the information you provide is a complete and accurate disclosure of your financial status. I understand that early withdrawal, non-completion or leave of absence from the program will result in forfeiture of scholarship monies and that I can reapply to the program and scholarship in the future.

Please Note: Application for a scholarship and application for the training program are to be completed separately. If you are awarded a scholarship, a courtesy hold will be made for the program while you complete the training application process. If awarded a scholarship, you have 10 days to complete the training registration process and accept the scholarship.
