Phyllis Capp, RYT 200
Completed Trainings:
200 Hour Training, Yin, Restorative Teaching Style: Gentle, Beginning/Continuing & Vinyasa |
Phyllis has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. Following her desire to deepen her own personal practice, she enrolled in a teacher training program. She completed her 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 through The Yoga Connection with Priscilla Potter. Other trainings include a 60-Hour Yin Yoga teacher training from Session Yoga with Dove Crawford, a 12-Hour Restorative Yoga training with Kristy Harvey, and a 20-Hour Applied Anatomy Intensive with Asha Wolf.
Phyllis is grateful for her own practice and for all the wonderful teachers she has met along the way. She believes yoga is for everyone and enjoys sharing this special practice with others. She teaches Gentle, Yin, Restorative, and Vinyasa type classes. Her classes change from week to week and always include music. Vinyasa classes can be challenging but slow allowing the student to be mindful of their breath, cultivating a gentle type of moving meditation. Her hope is that each student will leave class feeling a little more present in their body, mind, and soul. Phyllis is married with two grown sons and a few furry kids. She enjoys being outside playing tennis, hiking, biking, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering in her community. |
