Michael started practicing yoga regularly in 2014 to compliment his physical exercise routine. While initially focused on physical benefits, he began to realize and appreciate the broader impact of his practice. Michael enrolled in the Teacher Training program to deepen his own practice and to develop a greater understanding of the mind, body and spiritual aspects of yoga. Along with being a yoga enthusiast, Michael is a golfer, mountain climber, hiker, cyclist, vocalist, runner, and all-around life-long learner. Michael is a retired human resources executive and enjoys working with yogis of all levels. Michael completed his 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training through The Yoga Connection with Priscilla Potter, Swami Maha-tarananda, in February 2020.
