Special Initiatives
Green Tara Project
Our outreach program brings yoga and meditation to those who cannot easily access a studio. We serve veterans, end-of-life patients, nursing homes, prisons, assisted living communities, and local Native tribes—sharing tools for healing, relaxation, and stress management. Teacher Training Scholarships The Yoga Connection’s training programs are designed to make the teachings of yoga and well-being available to all. Our scholarship fund ensures that finances are not a barrier to deepening practice or learning to teach. Scholarships are partial, based on available funds, and made possible by the generosity of donors like you. Green Tara Volunteer Program Volunteers are the heart of The Yoga Connection. Just 2–4 hours a week can help us sustain classes, outreach, and community support. As a nonprofit, we depend on the generosity of those willing to share time, energy, and compassion. |
