Donna has been a student of yoga for 15 years. Over the years, however, her practice usually took a back seat to work, raising her kids and other “must do’s” of life. Before moving to Tucson in 2004, Donna developed an interest in meditation as a means of finding a place of inner relaxation and growth.
After coming to Tucson, her practice increased as she tried different forms including Bikram, Vinyasa , Hatha and Iyengar. Having a background in pilates instruction and being a registered nurse helped her to really appreciate all that yoga has to offer everyone no matter what level of physical fitness or health. Looking to deepen her yoga and meditation practice, she chose to become an instructor and continues today to learn and deepen all practices while having the opportunity to share all she has learned with her students.
