Tracy Gordon, RYT 200
Registered Yoga Teacher
Tracy incorporated yoga as a daily practice into her life after the loss of her mother in January 2004. Practicing alone, and studio hopping, she wandered into the Yoga Connection and truly felt a sense of community between the teachers, student-teachers and students. Tracy participated in the HTTI 2007 program to expand her own yoga practice and was offered the opportunity to share her love and passion for yoga at the Yoga Connection.
She teaches Hatha Yoga focusing on acceptance, self-nurturing, pranayama, asana and mudras. She has her mother and especially her husband to thank for lighting her path -- and has immeasurable gratitude for Priscilla Potter for directing her to her path.
Tracy leads a Monthly New Moon Meditation.

Ashley began practicing yoga in 1997 and completed her yoga teacher training at the Yoga Connection in 2004. In 2008, Ashley received her Personal Training Certification (CPT). In 2010 Ashley successfully completed her Yin Yoga Training.
She was the Yoga Connection's studio manager until 2010, during which time she helped to develop numerous programs and expand studio offerings. Ashley is fortunate to have studied with so many inspirational teachers: Priscilla Potter, Sue Ferguson, Lilias Folan, Erich Schiffman, Goswami Kriyananda and Mirea Pineda. There is wisdom in the body that is both informed by and informs the mind, and there is something else... beyond the mind-body complex. Jim Norris
Hatha Yoga Instructor
Jim began practicing yoga at 8 years of age, practicing in his living room with Richard Hittleman on TV, and has had a consistent practice for the past 12 years. He has been teaching yoga for 10 years and considers his primary teachers, and inspirations upon the yogic path, to be Priscilla Potter, Goswami Kriyananda, Swami Satchidananda and B.K.S. Iyengar.
Jim describes his approach to yoga as organic and eclectic characterized by slow but deep movement, lots of breathing; keeping present in mind and body. His teaching style is meditative. His personal yoga practice includes mantra and sound. Jim teaches yoga in order to give back the teaching he has received and says the response from his students helps him continue learning. Jim has been teaching at the Yoga Connection about 10 years, considering it to be his “yoga home” and his sangha.
Jim leads a Monthly Full Moon Meditation with Mantra.

She has had a wonderful experience at Yoga Vida practicing Bikram yoga. She recently completed the first level of yoga nidra or iRest training.
“I teach because I love yoga and I want to share this positive experience with as many people as I possibly can. I feel very comfortable and at home at the Yoga Connection. There is a very warm vibe that surrounds the studio and makes you feel welcomed. Yoga has been a very important force in my life. It has made me a better person. Now that I have fully experienced this positive impact, my life would not be the same without it.”
Julie currently teaches Thursday Meditation by Donation.
