Gentle Yoga: Slow-paced, emphasis on breathing, relaxation and gentle stretching. Beginners welcome. Back Care Yoga: Focus on core strength, body posture, alleviating neck and back pain, and lengthening and decompressing the spine. Beginners welcome. $3 Yoga: These classes are taught by students from our Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Intensive (HTTI) and will cover basic poses in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Beginners welcome. Beginning/Continuing: This mixed level class introduces variations of the postures, allowing students to practice at their own level of expertise. Beginners welcome. Intermediate: This is a strong class with emphasis on building strength, flexibility and stamina. Inversions and backbends are practiced under the guidance of qualified instructors. Prior yoga experience required. Prenatal Yoga: This class uses gentle stretching, visualization, relaxation and breathing techniques to help guide you through your pregnancy and delivery. Beginners welcome. Chair Yoga: Learn how to practice yoga from the comfort of your chair! For people who cannot get on the ground as well as people who spend most of their day sitting. Beginners welcome. Yoga for Children: Ages 4-8. Offered in the summer and fall. Yoga-based movement, breathing and centering techniques. Your child will develop body awareness, strength and confidence, and maintain flexibility. Yoga adventure! |
